Hamstrings ready, tighten the grip
Lean back slightly and row.
Take up the stroke, lean back and repeat
As the imaginary boat starts to go.
Limp fingers run through the water
Lean forward straining to hear.
Take up your oars and retreat
As the fictional coach picks the team.
